been a while since my last post.

Had Kiki's party last saturday, man close to 40 people in the house and 30+ sitting in the living room watching the game.  Glad that the other 12 or so invited couldn't make it.

Basketball is still in full swing.  Kiki's KYB team is without a win and Varsity Indians had 3 heart breaking losses in a row, to 3 teams with a combined record of 29-4.  Including one in overtime.  They are young and don't know how to win the close ones.  They are close to being 10-2 instead they are 7-5.  Joel keeps hanging on despite the lack of playing time he is seeing.  Getting harder to keep the encouragement up.  It would help if he broke through in the scoring column when he did get in.  He has played some good defense including another block and a few rebounds.

I thought I had more to add when I started this post,  if it comes back I will add it.

Happy New Year

Hope everyone had a rocking good time.  Like Dick Clark.  I know I am not the only person that is uncomfortable watching him, am I?

Had a nice evening at home for New Year's Eve.  Mom came over for Pizzas, bacon water chestnuts, a few drinks, a fire in the fire place, a movie and some rousing Jenga, Uno and Cribbage games.

Mom stayed the night and in the morning I made french toast and bacon.  I also made monkey bread.  Home made yeast rise kind.  Not the frozen dough one.  Then watched football all day, culminated by a disappointing Badger loss.

Anyway, may all my faithful readers have a healthy and prosperous 2011 and beyond.
