Tennis

Joel started tennis yesterday.  The kid is excited.  He thinks he will be the man to beat. The number 1 player on the team.  Playing all the other number 1 players.  I love seeing his excitement.  I have a schedule I will post as well as any results that should be listed in the JournalSentinel or other places.

How can I forget. Mackenzie was elected to school government. Here she is with the group that raised money to Haiti relief.

Happy BlogDay

Ok My Blog is two years old today. They are so cute at this age.

What sucks about this time of year. No snow to cover the brown ground and dog poop.

Happy Friday.

Well I think it's official, the winter season is on the backside. I am thinking that the snowboarding is done and unless for some miracle the March 21st Cascade run is also in jeopardy. Need to keep an eye on the site for that.

Not much else going on - I did the first oil change on the beast yesterday. Not hard except for the g**da*! oil filter. I thought I was going to pop another hernia trying to get that thing off.

Trying to resurrect my turksville.net site. Got all hosed up. Was going to run a car blog there. Old, new maintenance, cleaning.

Friday already.

So much to do today, gonna go very quick I can tell.

Anyway, Got the second modification done to the new car already. I had the windows tinted. Black inside and outside, I wanted to give me some relief from the sun. Not murdered out tint but legal tint. As the tinter said hassle-less class.

Go to Picasa web album for pictures. I hope to wash it soon. Maybe this afternoon? I feel like dad. I got a bunch of new cleaning products, not just for this car. I was pretty much out of stuff and what I wasn't out of, I forgot and it froze in the garage.

Here's a good lotto winning moment. Wednesday night, Joel and I were asked to go to a Bucks game with a friend and his father. Corporate tickets 4 row, real nice. The row was in the corner so the row was only 7 people wide. No one is sitting directly next to my right when the game started.

A few minutes in, I glance around and see the people sitting next to me. Gary Schuster and Mike Podoll. Those are Gary's season tickets I find out. We were sitting right next to each other. What are the chances of same game, same section SAME row. That was very cool.

Well you know as soon as you lay out a good amount of money for something, something else breaks. Well Tracy car decided it needed a new battery. Not surprised, it was the original of 7 years. What was funny, is that it was made by Panasonic. Like a big toy battery or something.

Only 500 more miles to go and I can unleash "the beast". Who names their cars? It depends doesn't it? I like the idea of naming them, just not creative enough to think of a good name most of the time. The first Subaru is Scooby as in Scooby Doo. My old Supra was know as the Piece of *&*t. The truck was named, something like Betty, I cant quite remember. The civic never had a name that stuck. Old Faithful? Anyway the new car is close to being named. I like it yet I have some apprehension. Jim Helland asked when he could see the black beast. I thought I would just go with "The Beast". Cute, but am I asking for trouble?

"what car should I use?"
"take the beast"
or
"the beast is causing me all kinds of problems"

Any thoughts?
