Errr - As you all know I have had my car for over 2 months now and still don't have a proper licesnse for it. 

So I called the DMV - Special plates area - for the Donate Life plate.   Guess what - they have nothing on my car, no VIN, No request for title, no request for plates.  NOTHING. 

I call the dealership,  They say they sent all the information in the mail, yada yada, same day as we bought the car but the DMV had not cashed the check from them on this request yet. 

So it's been lost in the mail for 2 months?  I have no title, no plate... The dealership will follow up in a few days...Really? Like it will magically show up after two months of nothing?

2 month anniversary with my new car.  i think I will wash it at lunch. 

Why do I try something only to have it blow up on me into some huge project?   I wanted to fix the sticking sunroof in Tracy's car.   Well  - 2 days later it's still not working and I have the roof out!  LOL.  Oh well.  It's always fun to learn how to do something new.

Anyway - Joel has played 4 tennis meets and is still win-less.  At Plymouth today in search of that first win.   He knew being the man would be hard.  Playing Seniors with more time in than him.  Got to keep him positive.  He is hard on himself.   Hmmm sounds like someone else I know.

Oh Yea Happy Earth Day - I got some paint I need to pour in the sewer..  Just kidding... its engine oil.

Made some updates to the side bars.  Now tracking Tennis and soon Kiki's fast pitch softball.  Not much going on.

Remodeling a bathroom, laundry room and hall and I am sore (for someone else).  Getting antsy for the weather and getting some summer underway.  Being spoiled by 80+ degrees in Arizona and Arkansas the last few weeks has been tough.

Can't believe it's Saturday and I am up.  Worse than that I am going to do a remodel.  8 hrs of crap.   I am so sore from softball and cleaning (cars etc).  Gonna be a long day.  But at least it will be extra vacation money!

Ok  - I refrained from any april fools posts. 

I hope you enjoyed some of that weather.  I know I did - Washed the beast, grilled for dinner and had the first softball practice of the year.  Yea I am playing softball again.  Why after  a seemingly miserable season last year.  Well things have changed.  I am relatively pain free this time.  Now I know what to expect and to play within my self, no delusions of grandeur this time around. 


Anyway, I created a new blog to track the family vacation.  See it in the blog list in the right.  Yes - updates from the road.  Maybe I am excited about this vacation as it may be the last 'everybody' vacation for a while.  We go somewhere every 2-3 years.  This makes Joel 18-19.  That changes a lot.
