I had a whole bunch of things I had wanted to post about but got swept up and before you know it bam its 2-3 weeks later.

One thing I wanted to mention was the annual fireworks display at the lakefront.  Got to be something like 35-40 years we have been doing this.  Family, food and fireworks.  Good times.

Then there was the weekend I made the first grilled pizza of the season.  Man I love that.  Too bad it takes a lot of work with the homemade dough.  Sure I could get some frozen or other but then it wouldn't be special to make it so often.

Oh and the weekend of meat kept going with these super thick grilled pork chops!
