This labyrinth we are puzzled by is nothing but a straight line, but sometimes those are even harder to navigate.

I had my new car all of one day. I already got pulled over. Yea can you believe it? That's what I get for taking the scenic route in Stone Bank coming home from my sisters house. 41 in a 25. To my credit I thought the speed limit was 35. Apparently the fact that I am never in Stone Bank, a West Bend drivers license, a new car temporary tag and the fact he actually pulled me over after we passed a 35 mph speed sign, he let me off with a warning.
Glens band rocked the house at Papa's Social Club last night. Over 150 people paid through the door. They will be back there with that showing. Which is cool because then I get another Pizza and Garlic bread at Mama's next door! Man that was good, but I am feeling it today.
Tracy and I also stopped off at Jim and Nicole's to drop more GS cookies off. Got to play with the new Puppy - Zoe. She is a tiny little lap dog. Cute as a button. Smaller than our 2 year old cats. It's going to be hard for Jim to go back to work Tuesday. He's gonna miss her. :) You can really tell this is their first real pet. They spoil her, toys, treats, clothing. Jim you're gonna have to turn your hetero card in pretty soon. Just kidding!

Well Big shout out to the Kewaskum Boys Junior Varsity Basketball team. Nice season going 15-7. Including winning the Slinger tournament. Should be able to compete next year nicely. At least more than the 8 wins the varsity has had in the last 3 seasons combined.
Proud of Joel and his willingness to work. From being low on the bench, (did not even play in 2 games) to starting and being a major contributor to the team. Just had to explain, just because you may be better than a lot of people on the team, doesn't mean you get handed anything. Working hard in practice proves what you can do. Especially like the lat 2 games where he scored 15 and 11 in each with major defense and rebounding as well.
A few weeks off for him and off to tennis.

FRIDAY
Yep it's Friday. It's also the last basketball game of the year for the K-Town JV squad. However it is in New Holstein. Maybe hit the Elite Bar in NH for fish fry after the game? That might be too late...Yea that's right the 'ELITE BAR' in New Holstein. Can't wait to see what that looks like.
I don't know if I am happy about it or not. I have a good time going to the games, but I know Joel is done. He was excited to come home yesterday and proclaim the last basketball practice of the year had been completed. I don't blame him, 4 months is a lot of hoops.
He is getting excited for tennis, thinks he will be the BMOC this year. The man, #1 varsity single player, playing the best every other high school has. He very well may be but I gotta keep him in check.
Hey Girl Scout Cookies are in, and just a few more people to deliver to. And they already have a recall. Who made these cookies? Toyota? Heeeey-OOOOOO!!! Seriously. Lemon Cremes may have an off flavor. Well we ate a box before we knew about it, they can't taste that bad!
We do not handle the recall. Some web site somewhere tells you about it.

Joel took a pre - ACT or something last fall. Apparently he did pretty good. That or colleges use a shotgun approach to marketing. So far he has received material from these schools indicating he would be a fine addition to the university:
TCU
University of Miami (The U)
Duke
Drake
Iowa State
Marquette
Butler
Luther
Illinois Wesleyan
Rensselaer
Washington and Lee
Colorado School of Mines?
U of Evansville
Rochester

Can't get my head in the game this week. Plenty of work to be done, have absolutely no will to do it. Been a very impulsive week. Do this, no wait do that, no wait, something else. It's no wonder I can't finish anything.
Made some Walleye last night. Everyone liked it, I though meh. Probably because I cooked it and was sick of looking at it. Tonight I try some Gumbo, real Gumbo with a roux and everything.
Probably end up the same, good to some, meh to me. Can I tell you I can't wait for February to end. It has to be one of the crappiest of all months. Not quite winter, not quite spring. Hell I think that's why it's only 28 days. They thought ahead and said yea, just make February shorter, no one will mind.

Last homestand
Just putting it out there. Joel has two more home games left in the 2009-2010 basketball season. Tonight at 5:45 Vs Kiel and a Friday night game against Two Rivers. Again that game also starts at 5:45 PM. Kewaskum Fieldhouse.
Lets help them break this 3 game mini losing streak.

Pretty much a whole week without an entry.
Let me tell you this. Craigslist is the way to sell just about anything (sex jokes aside). I Am selling a broken compressor, quite a few people asking about it. Joels loft bed? I have no fewer than 7 people lined up for it.
We had the SouperBowl on Sunday. Big pot of Chicken soup. Oh yea and that football game.

Not a lot to talk about. More Hoops tonight at Sheboygan Falls.
I did forget to mention Tracy's 12th year anniversary of her transplant last week. Bad Husband.
Snowing today, about time to cover up the poop and dirty snow.
Need to get to Alterra today, out of coffee, it's double punch Tuesdays and I can only drink Moose Munch flavored coffee so many days in a row.
